Things to Remember
just a few things to remember to keep your stay stress-free
We, at Frangeli House wish for your stay to be pleasant and memorable. Please do not hesitate to call on us if you need assistance and let us know how we could make your stay more comfortable.
These guidelines refer to the self-catered stay which is the accommodation option for guests without events at Frangeli House.
To ensure the enjoyment and safety of everyone, please refer to the following guidelines. Thank you.
ROOM AMENITIES
All rooms are equipped with a ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom, body wash, shampoo, towels and hand towel.
Guests may choose between 1 queen bed or 2 twin beds. Extra guests over 2 persons per room will get twin mattresses for their beds.
CHECK-IN and CHECKOUT
Check-in time is at 2:00 p.m. while check-out time is at 11:00 a.m.
Request for early check-in is subject to room availability. You may leave your luggage in the office if room is not yet available.
Checkout after 11 a.m. is subject to charge, which is P100.00 per person per hour.
Early check-in will be charged the same.
We require a minimum of 2 nights for our self-catered stay.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is not included in the transient stay or self-catered stay accommodation. Guests however are welcome to use the fully equipped guest kitchen for cooking and washing dishes. Guests may also request for breakfast to be served but please let us know a week before check-in. Please ask us for the choices and rates.
RESCHEDULING
Rescheduling is dependent on the availability of the place.
Changing the schedule of the stay within 2 weeks to 1 week before the reserved date will mean a 25% charge of the total amount which will be deducted from the down payment.
Changing the schedule of the stay within 1 week before the reserved date will mean a 50% charge of the total amount which will be deducted from the down payment.
A booking is considered as rescheduled if there is a definite date the stay would be moved to that is not more than 3 months
from the original booking. Failure to book a specific date after this will render the customer’s payment non-refundable.
CANCELLATION
Reservations could be canceled at least 2 weeks before the stay, after which the customer’s payment will be fully refunded. There is a cancellation fee of P2,000. If reservations are canceled at least 1 week before, 50% of the customer’s payment will be refunded. Any cancellation fees incurred e.g. credit card or bank fees shall be charged to the customer. Canceling the reservation less than 1 week before the event will render the customer’s payment non-refundable. The security deposit will be returned.
If reservations are made less than a week before the event date, Frangeli House requires full payment of the event. Cancellation of the reservation will render the payment non-refundable.
Early departures are non-refundable.
Room cancellations due to natural disasters or personal emergencies with proof may be reviewed. The amount paid may be placed into a hotel credit that may be used at a later date.
NO SHOW
Renters who fail to show up on the reserved date will not receive a refund.
WIFI
Wifi is available for your use. Please ask for the password from the front desk.
ACTIVITIES
Books, magazines, piano, and board games in the living room are for your enjoyment.
ROOM KEYS
Please drop your room keys at the office when you leave the house.
WATER & ELECTRICITY
Because water is a precious resource, please help us conserve it. Also, please turn off the lights when leaving the room.
TOWELS
Please let us know if you need new towels and/or bed linens. To save on water and electricity, please hang your towels to be re-used on the towel holders.
HOUSEKEEPING
There is no daily maid service for our self-catered stay (aka. transient). However, housekeeping will be available every 2 days for towel and linen change only.
NOISE CONTROL
FH is a bird and eco sanctuary. Offensive, loud, and intolerable music/ noise will not be allowed in the venue at any time. Offenders will be warned. FH will be compelled to shut down the power supply and the sound system in case of non-compliance.
In consideration of our neighbors, as per agreement with the barangay, and in compliance with the Baguio Environment Code, loud noise or music will have to be toned down by 7:00 p.m. All noise, and music will end at 9:00 p.m. Quiet hours in residential zones in Baguio are 9:00pm-6:00am.
GATE SCHEDULE
Gates will be locked at 12 midnight. Guests who would like to come home later, please inform the FH staff.
DAY GUESTS
Up to 5 day guests are allowed for our guests from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Incoming and outgoing day guests will sign our guestbook. If additional rooms are needed for day guests, please inform the FH staff.
PARTIES
Parties that require catering and/or the use of rented sound system and/or lights are not considered under transient stay arrangements. If you wish to use the house for a party, you may inquire about our events rates with accommodation.
SMOKING
Baguio is a non-smoking city. Smoking outside or inside the house, including in the guest rooms, is not allowed for health and safety reasons. Any evidence of smoking in the rooms or inside the house will result in a P5,000 fine that will be deducted from the security deposit.
PETS
Pets are not allowed inside the house. A maximum of 2 small dogs may stay outside at the covered patio or porch in a crate at night. Guests must be responsible owners and clean up after their dogs during their stay and dispose of waste properly. Failure to do so will result in a P1,000 fine. Bringing in of pets inside the house and/rooms will result in cleaning fees.
BONFIRE/FIREPLACE
Guests may request for the bonfire/fireplace to be lit at least 30 mins. before their desired time. There is a P500 charge/hour for the use of these and only FH staff may light it. There is a fire ban between 12am-6am for safety reasons.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
We have provided containers for recyclable dry papers, tin cans, plastic, and glass bottles under the stairs on the second floor and in the kitchen. Guests are requested to follow barangay and city of Baguio ordinances to segregate all waste items into biodegradable (nabubulok) and non-biodegradable (hindi nabubulok). Failure to do so will entail a P1,000 fine to be deducted from the security deposit.
DAMAGES
Damaged linens, furniture, and fixtures will have to be paid for based on our estimated value of damage or loss.
FIREARMS
Firearms are not allowed on the premises.
